We’ve been talking a lot recently about how, in order to achieve product-led growth, companies need to create cross-functional teams, break down silos, and unify around common goals.

In my experience, there's a giant wall between product and other departments in most organizations. And some popular SaaS products and methodologies can actually make this problem worse by putting PMs on a pedestal and creating yet another silo of knowledge.

Product-led organizations—in which everything from sales to customer support to marketing centers around the product itself—can't afford to have these divisions. So, neither can our tools.

That’s why Appcues is building a platform that helps break down walls and unify operations throughout your company—starting with the barrier between product and sales.

The Appcues <> Salesforce Integration

To this end, today we’re thrilled to announce Appcues <> Salesforce, a bi-directional integration to help you unify sales, service, and product data—delighting your users while increasing revenue.

Because the integration is bi-directional, the ability to send data works both ways. You can now send Salesforce property data to Appcues, allowing you to target and segment in-product experiences based on virtually any attribute in Salesforce—including plan tier, MRR amount, and lifecycle stage.

You can also send Appcues survey and event data to Salesforce—leads and contacts are updated in real time as they interact with in-product experiences. The integration also allows you to automatically tag leads and contacts in Salesforce with their Appcues NPS responses, making it easier to monitor user sentiment among your most important prospects.

Ultimately, this integration allows you to deliver more personalized and effective in-product experiences than ever before. And it lets your sales and service teams see exactly what your prospects are doing in-product so you can go beyond SQLs and MQLs with PQLs—product qualified leads

The future of product-led sales

For sales-led organizations, the Appcues <> Salesforce Integration offers a bridge to becoming more product-led. For all our customers, it means smarter product experiences and better sales and service conversations.

This is the future of product-led sales. And it's only the beginning—the infrastructure behind this integration enables us to break down even more barriers to cross-functional collaboration with ease. This major integration marks a significant step in our continuing evolution from user onboarding solution to Product-Led Growth Platform.

We have much more in store in the near future, so stay tuned!
